What do I bring to my first session?
The most important thing that you must bring to each and every session is a positive attitude. Comfortable, breathable athletic clothes and sneakers are required for safety purposes. Bring a reusable water bottle and a towel; a yoga mat is optional. If you have preexisting medical conditions that may prevent full particpation, I may place you on a modified instruction program until a medical waiver is completed by your physician. Some conditions require a waiver before participating even in a limited capacity. If there are any concerns, you can contact me here.
What can I expect in Boot Camp?
Expect to have a challenging workout experience with a variety of training modes. We do bodyweight training, lift weights, balance, flexibility, agility, and coordination training. The bottom line is we train every way. We pride ourselves in providing highly individualized instruction so that no one feels overwhelmed.
How long will it take for me to see results?
Results vary from person to person. If your goal is to lose weight, the industry standard for a safe and effective weight loss program is 1-2 pounds per week. Keep in mind that your goal is to lose weight and keep it off. If you are severely overweight or obese, it's normal to lose a little bit more in the beginning of your program. In order to efficiently achieve maximum success, dietary behaviors as well as a few other lifestyle factors must be considered. If you want to put on muscle or get stronger, you'll have to make behavior changes as well. We will train you and give you tools to help make better lifestyle decisions but it's up to you to stay consistent and do what's right to accomplish your goals.
